Playstation Plus Instant Game Collection – September 2013

With Need for Speed, Demon’s Souls and LEGO Lord of the Rings all leaving the instant game collection, there were some mighty large boots to fill – thankfully, Sony have once again managed to deliver.

Requiring very little in the way of introduction – the latest in Ubisoft’s premier franchise, Assassin’s Creed 3 introduces the naval combat that will form the centre of the upcoming Black Flag and is a fantastic reason to be a PS Plus subscriber.

For those three or four people who did not own a PS2, The Jak and Daxter Trilogy represents some of the finest platforming ever seen on Sony’s second Playstation – now remastered in HD.

The PS Vita gets some good news of its own in the shape of Stealth Inc (Also available on PS3) and Urban Trial Freestyle. The former being a stealth platformer and the latter being Sony’s answer to Trials HD, PS Plus represents not only great value but great variety.
