Rather inevitably considering the trade-in offers that have been circulating on Amazon and Gamestop in the US, UK retailer GAME have come up with their own current gen to next gen trade in offers.
Even with only three titles confirmed thus far, the offer nonetheless promises a fantastic return – with heavy discounting likely on the current gen versions of FIFA 14, Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts, consumers could see a trade in value that is higher than the original purchase price.
With Xbox One games confirmed to carry the same RRP as Xbox 360 titles, the likely upgrade cost from an Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty to an Xbox one version is around £10. That said, as has been seen before at console launches, the shelf price of titles is liquid and until November roles in, it is impossible to say whether GAME’s offering represents the best value on the market.
