EA have confirmed that the Xbox One version of their latest blockbuster football franchise, Fifa 14, has a couple of irritating bugs that customers have been reporting since launch.
It’s quite possible that the bugs may have completely passed you by – if you’ve been playing solo. However, if 2-players are involved and both signed in, all hell breaks loose! That is to say, there will be issues when trying to control your sporting heroes.
A further problem can occur if the Xbox One is allowed to go into ‘sleep’ mode. Should you step away from the machine for too long, when you return all online features will be disabled!?
Though both issues have simple work arounds, like not signing both controllers in at once or cancelling out of the game and then returning to it to reactivate online features, customers will have to tread carefully to avoid disappointment and need to be reassured that: a) these are problems that WILL be fixed, and b) their game and / or machine is not broken.
EA have promised a patch will be released to resolve the ongoing issues, but a date is yet to be confirmed.
