Those who have been playing Titanfall on PC may have found themselves getting increasingly more frustrated. Cheaters are becoming rife amongst the servers, many of which have purchased an ‘aimbot’ that enables players to easily kill other players. After all with an aimbot how can you miss? Luckily for the honest players, the developer, Respawn, has responded to the cheaters.
Respawn have implemented a ‘Fairfight’ detection system, which should help track down these cheaters. So once tracked down surely they’ll be banned yes? No. Respawn have decided to give these cheaters a taste of their own medicine. Anyone who is blacklisted will only be allowed to play against/with other cheaters. Respawn had this to say in a recent FAQ;
Great news: you get to keep playing Titanfall. Less-great news: you only get to play with other cheaters. You can play with other banned players in something that will resemble the Wimbledon of aimbot contests. Hopefully the aimbot cheat you paid for really is the best, or these all-cheater matches could be frustrating for you. Good luck.”
Anyone who isn’t banned but is in a party with a banned player has to endure the same treatment and will be bundled in with the cheaters. Once you leave the party you are able to play normal games once more and won’t be branded a cheater by association. I think it’s time to ostracise your cheating friends.
