Fever for Dragon Age Inquisition is certainly starting to heat up. We’ve seen trailers, screenshots and character bio’s that have given a glimpse into the lands that stretch beyond Ferelden. As for gameplay footage, well that has been scarce in comparison. Until now.
Bioware and EA have unleashed a new gameplay trailer that shows off the world, combat and story arc. The trailer also confirms the release date as the 7th of October. Whilst previous Dragon Age games may have come with hefty criticism, this new trailer may put any doubters to rest.
Surprisingly Bioware have just announced that Dragon Age Inquisition is available on several formats, even though the game was previously thought to be a next gen only title. Here’s a statement taken directly from the official Dragon Age website;
It’s official: Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming to PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 7, 2014!
Effective immediately, you can preorder the game, and by doing so, get the Flames of the Inquisition pack as an added bonus. Can you close the Breach and restore order to a world torn asunder? The pack should help.
Whether the PS3 and Xbox 360 will be stripped back, other than graphically, in comparison to their next gen counterparts remains unknown but I’m sure Bioware will be quick to point out the major differences.
So what do we think to the new trailer. Has Dragon Age come of age? Will this rival Skyrim? Or do we expect Dragon Age to fall short? Let us know your thoughts.
