The crossover for Borderlands 2 to the PS Vita has been a long time coming. Revealed way back during E3 we can finally confirm, due to the official Playstation Twitter account, that the Vita version of Borderlands 2 is due May 28th in Europe.
Fans who own the PS3 version are able to pick up were they left off via cross save support and the Vita version will include some of the previously released DLC.These include Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, two character classes -the Psycho and Mechromancer – and finally the Collector’s Edition pack, plus the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack.
Whilst unconfirmed, Twinstickgaming imagine we’ll see the missing DLC packs, such as Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt and Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, become available on the Playstation Network.
Despite mixed reports we can also confirm that the PS Vita version will support (online) up to 4 players.
If you haven’t heard the news already there is also a Borderlands Pre-sequel in the works that is due October this year and will be available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC – Click here for more info or check out the list of characters.
