Humble Bundle Launches a New 14-Day Event, Which Gives You Great Games and Supports Charities

The Humble Bundle has launched a two week Humble Daily Bundle promotion which offers a new package of up to 9 free PC games daily when you donate some money to charity.

For those unfamiliar with how the deal works, you essentially pay what you want for a few games (you can even pay 1 cent, although I wouldn’t advise this, it is for charity!) but the higher the amount you donate, the more games you unlock. Paying higher than the average donation of your peers will unlock for you the majority of the games, and even bag you freebies such as game soundtracks.

You might say, ‘Sure it’s for charity, but how much of my money actually goes to charity?’ but that’s one of the brilliant things about this; your money is divided upon donation and you can choose how to split it. Some can go to the developer for giving the games away, some can go to amazing charities such as American Red Cross and the Child’s Play Charity, and the rest can go to Humble Bundle to contribute towards the running costs of the site, etc. Nothing is set in stone with your donations, and you can decide exactly who your money goes to.

Yesterday’s deal saw the return of a few triple A titles which most people wouldn’t mind playing again:

Paying any amount would have got you:6e2dc73b-f87f-45ad-85da-2d6d234aa02e

  • Saints Row: The Third
  • Saints Row 2
  • Risen 2: Dark Waters
  • Sacred 2: Gold Edition

Paying over the average, got you the added games of:

  • Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition
  • Saints Row: The Third – The Full DLC Package
  • Metro 2033
  • Risen
  • Sacred Citadel

Humble Bundle deals are refreshed every day at 7pm (GMT). Keep your eyes open and you can get yourself some amazing games, whilst also doing your bit for charity.
