Child Of Light Released On PS Vita In July

Combat borrows from a classic RPG formula.

The wonderful Child of Light is finally making it’s way to the PS Vita on July 2nd.

Ubisoft have confirmed that the beautiful, 2D side-scrolling RPG will cost £11.99 – the same as the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC versions. There will also be a ‘complete edition’ available on the same day, which will include all additional in-game content, such as a bonus quest, a new character and collectibles pack.

Sadly, Child of Light will not have cross play/cross save functionality between the PS4, PS3 and upcoming PS Vita versions. Hopefully this is something Ubisoft will fix in a future update.

Child of Light was praised by critics and described as a ‘gem.’ Ubisoft received nothing but praise because this concise, inventive and beautiful title had surprisingly come from one of the big developers, and not some small indie developer.

Here is Child of Light in action on the PS Vita. Enjoy.
