Capcom and Nintendo have announced a re-release of the original three Ace Attorney games which were released in North America and Europe for the Nintendo DS. The games will be released as a bundle to form an Ace Attorney Trilogy. They will feature redrawn visuals and will be presented in glorious HD as well as being given a full 3D conversion.
The Ace Attorney Trilogy which includes Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Ace Attorney: Justice For All and Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations, will also include a Japanese version of the game, giving players the option to play the original or the English conversion.
Phoenix Wright has certainly had some exposure recently. With the release of Dual Destinies on the eShop last year and his crossover in Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright released in April this year, this is a great opportunity for long standing fans to relive the originals.
This is also an opportunity for a new audience that stumbled upon either the eShop release or for Layton fans that enjoyed the gameplay during the Phoenix Wright segments of the crossover title, to get their hands on some great games.
With dozens of hours worth of awesome gameplay (seriously, it could last you months!), the Ace Attorney Trilogy will be released exclusively on the Nintendo eShop during this Winter.
