Xbox: Games With Gold – September 2014

September is almost here and Microsoft have unveiled their latest offering for Games With Gold, for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. For those who aren’t in the know, Games With Gold releases two free games every month for both Xbox One and Xbox 360, provided you are an Gold Xbox Live Subscriber you’ll receive free games every month.

So what’s new this month?

Super Time Force (Xbox One)

Super Time Force replaces Strike Suit Zero in the roster this month. Super Time Force is a side scrolling shooter from developer Capybara Games. Colonel Repeatski sends the super time force back in time to save the Dinosaurs from extinction, fight robots and blow everything up in the general vicinity. 8-bit graphics with an 8-bit soundtrack what more could you possibly want?

Super Time Force is available from the 1st of September

Crimson Dragon (Xbox One)

Oddly enough, Crimson Dragon retains its spot in the free games roster. Here’s what we had to say about it last time.

Inspired by the classic Panza Dragoon and its predecessors, Crimson Dragon has the player riding a huge dragon whilst battling a seeming endless horde of enemies. This impressive looking title was a showcase for the Xbox One Arcade and is well worth the download.

Crimson Dragon is currently available on Games With Gold NOW.

Monaco: What’s Yours is Mine (Xbox 360)

Monaco is a co-op heist game from Pocketwatch Games. A cross between the Bonanza Bros and Hotline Miami, you can play this game solo or with up to 4 other players. Monaco is available from the 1st of September.

Halo Reach (Xbox 360)

Microsoft’s flagship franchise Halo makes it’s way for free to Xbox 360, with Halo Reach. Many of you will have already played this but Reach certainly boasts one of the best multiplayer experiences the franchise has ever created, so if you haven’t played it already, now is the time. Halo Reach is available from September 16th.
