Mortal Kombat X, the tenth instalment in the series in development by NetherRealm Studios, is due to hit shelves worldwide April 14th 2015. To entice fans Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment have confirmed that Goro will be a downloadable character and pre-order exclusive. So far the exclusive is with an unnamed UK retailer.
As a franchise Mortal Kombat has had its ups and downs over the decades, but Mortal Kombat 9 saw a glorious return to form for the series. This has now left many gamers eager to sink their teeth into the latest instalment, fraught with gore and bone crunching violence. The term video game nasty doesn’t do it justice. Still there is no denying Mortal Kombat is just one of those beat-em ups that you are compelled to play, that is if you can stomach watching someone having their spinal cord ripped out.
