Recently, Warner Bros. announced that the last-gen (PS3 and Xbox 360) versions of Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor have been delayed to November 21st (18th in the US).
Warner Bros. announced that those versions will need ‘more time in development‘. Whilst not mentioned, we here at Twinstick Gaming wonder whether this is due to the fact that the game was never thought to be on last-gen at all. Either way, it is a pleasant surprise, (in an industry with numerous delays) that the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions are in fact maintaining their release dates of September 30th.
Shadow Of Mordor is looking to be a big competitor for Game Of The Year, with its unique nemesis system, amazing graphics, and fluid open world. Being released in the same window as other big games, like Destiny and Assassin’s Creed Unity, may see Shadow Of Mordor completely overshadowed by its competitors, but as long as the game stays true to itself, then Shadow of Mordor should be able to put up one hell of a fight.
