Rockstar have announced that GTA V will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 on the 18th of November 2014, and don’t fret PC gamers you will be able to join in on the action from the 27th of January 2015.
Because of the power that the PS4 and Xbox One has to offer, GTA V will see a whole host of enhancements in comparison to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions including,
- New activities;
- New weapons;
- New vehicles;
- Additional wildlife;
- Denser traffic;
- New foliage system;
- Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more.
Not only that, as reported earlier by Twinstick Gaming, the radio stations have had a complete overhaul too, with DJ’s returning to the studio with new dialogue and DJ mixes as well as over 100 new songs.
Also, anyone who pre-orders GTA V for next-gen will receive $1,000,000 in-game cash to spend across Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. Rockstar also revealed changes to GTA Online, including up to 30 online players at any one time;
Enhancements to Grand Theft Auto Online include an increased player count, with online play now for up to 30 players on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One. All existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online will also be available for the PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC with much more to come.
Players can also transfer their online characters from the previous gen of consoles the PS4 or Xbox One, regardless of whether you previously owned a Sony console, you can transfer your character over to a Microsoft console and vice versa.
Anyone still playing on PS3 and Xbox 360 will also receive new content;
A host of new, exclusive content also awaits for players returning from the PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360 versions including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more maneuverable Blimp; activities, including wildlife photography; and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more.
